Introducing the hilarious Comedy Showwaiters
Café Kølbert’s Comedy Showwaiters was established in Denmark in 1985 and quickly rose to cult status, performing all their way up to the Royal Court.
Now with a brand new identity, the Comedy Showwaiters present their London branch, starting with the re-launch of their UK site.
Almost hand-crafted, the site serves as an introduction to the Showwaiters‘ particular universe and dreams.
With a blend of twisted British butler’s tradition and a serious dose of improvisation, always with elegance, the Comedy Showwaiters have served at countless events, dinners, corporate incentives, special moments, receptions and parties and will continue to do so covering great distances by land, see and air.

I think not once I had this question and every time I discuss this topic with any of my friends we are getting over excited and started to fight. One day a good friend of mine link me to this article of Craig A Elimeliah (producer at Firstborn Multimedia) from AIGA. I read it and seems to be fair but still doesn’t convince me, and I feel that Craig himself is not 100% convinced about it too. Is this a hard topic? Yes it is. Why? Because I think it depends of every person; it depend of how you feel it…I feel like a designer, is that wrong? People tell me that I am an artist, even if I try with all my heart to stay away from artistic field. What makes you designer, the fact that you are hired by ? The fact that you are dressing like a designer, think like a designer act like one…what makes you a designer? Same questions for artist; what makes you and artist? I want to be an artist, where do I start? What makes me an artist, or even better – WHO?
Got another chance to layout some tattoo work from Adambomb This time around we went with some 100lbs text weight flyers from Jak Prints , for use in magazine insertions and leave behinds. We also did a larger letter sized, tear away flyer. Had allot of fun laying these out and they printed great, too.
Here’s a quick turn, design i did for Pazzo’s 1st annaul food drive. Many thanks to the executive chef Patrick Webb for considering me for the project. We also donated a print for the silent auctions that were happening, benefiting the Shalom Center of Kenosha. You’ll see the the print below and additional prints are still available at the Mingadigm.
Hey there there, happy holidays. Got word a bit ago about a design that commissioned by Jason Kayzar over at MC2. Above you’ll see images of the design from start to first tattoo session. He was inspired by my previous blog-u-mentory on my tattoo by Adam over at Adambomb. Jason’s been a fan of my work for sometime now(many thanks sir) and was looking to have a tattoo done but was weary about getting more done until he saw the bloggings about Adambomb here. So, after consulting with Adam i began creating the design that Jason was thinking and Adam hooked it up. Great job Adam and thanks for thinking of me Jason!
Hey hey, got the shirts for the Mingadigm store and they are hot! Gotta give my boy Whitney over at Orchard Street Press some major respect for the amazing print job. Super detailed and super soft with the discharge inks and fairly priced for awesome printing, check em out when you get a chance. As always these shirts and many more posters are available on the Mingadigm store so mosey on over and have a look! thanks!
You still here? If so please let me announce the good news. This year ICR though it should invite some people to the Vienna Design Week; so they invite Ovidiu Hrin. But mister (Ovidiu) thought is will be so much fun if he can invite another designer along him to perform live a whole day. ICR agree so here we go, me and Ovidiu will be in Vienna since 5 of Octomber to 11 Oct, and we will be performing in VDW Labor section on 7-8 placed in Kunsthalle Wien. If you are around or if you plan a vacation around that date and if you are a designer too, do not hesitate to come to Vienna. There will be an entire week full of design and related events, so I am waiting you there. Can’t wait to be there and make the “combat” with Ovidiu, can’t wait too meet the others designers invited to VDW, can’t wait to visit the Zoo & at last can’t wait to have my vacation this year near Pupsa. Be there!
And at last let me make another announcement. I thought I should try the cargocollective thing. I found it interesting and quite nice & simple. So I started to upload stuff there; quickly I found out that I didn’t update my portfolio from a while so I started to upload new stuff and still uploading. So please show me some love and if you feel like sharing please do, if not recycle it and get over it.
This is an identity and branding project that really pushed us to develop some next level imagery and really get back to our illustration roots. it was an amazing journey and we couldn’t have done the work for a better band. Makeshift Prodigy is a 5 member idie/rock band out of Chicago.
An illustrated type treatment done for my alias as Black Minga. the idea for this piece was sparked by a gallery show i put on in Milwaukee at Di Carlo salon. it was a fashion forward show and the space there was amazing, really inspirational. I wanted to have something that spoke volumes of my style and techniques and thus here it is.
