I have spent a lifetime in the studio of my father, sculptor Emil Venkov, training in both realistic and abstract sculpture. Intensive work has brought me invaluable skills and knowledge to pursue even the most complex concepts. As I topped my aesthetics in sculpture, I began to experiment in design, and I have quickly aligned the quality of design with the class of my sculptures. I specialize in complex aesthetics and luxury design for the most demanding clients. I am available for commissioned work in design (product, furniture design of any kind) and also in realistic / abstract sculpture.

The Devourer represents a second example of complex aesthetics concept applied onto an automobile chassis. It is a continuation of a visual manifest presented in the “Alessian 2012″ concept.

The name is simply an allusion to the distinctive cooling vents in the chassis which “devour” air.

The concept represents a complex approach to shaping in automotive design. The shapes are stretched over the chassis of the car as muscles, generating contrasting appeal and energy sweeping around the car’s body.

Today’s production hasn’t surpassed the past in complexity of aesthetics, yet the technologies have evolved greatly.

The concept brings what the true luxury and exquisite production should offer the customers, not only superb technology, but also the up to date aesthetics.

Coffee Machine 01 is a step far away from today’s superautomatic machines. Market, satisfied by the technical advances and user comfort is now ready, or even want’s to be pampered not even by the technical possibilities, but even by appealing aesthetics. People no longer want to buy boxes of compact technology, they want an object that will amaze a splendid object to stand in their soundly managed interiors.

This is a proposition of such an object. The choice of superautomatic coffee machine was simple – the processes involved in making the coffee are inspirational in terms of aesthetics and of course, the theme of coffee itself is a lifestyle matter. Coffee is a also a matter of choice, often a mirror of your own ambitions. Coffee is an element that was part of many great events, a favourite drink, a beverage that brings people together. These are the reasons why the coffee machine, in today’s possibilities has all qualities to be and outstanding object in any sufficient space.

Coffee Machine 01 consists of two coffee units, symetrical – on the left and right. The only difference is that the left unit is for Arabica and right for Robusta, or other choice (or blends). The object has plenty of room for all the required technology, as it is 700 mm long, 630 mm wide and 400 mm tall. The object is accompanied by a 950 mm tall pedestal, that serves not only as an aesthetic associate of the coffee machine, but also introduces all that is needed or imagined to assist in the process of making a perfect cup of coffee.

The aim of the project was to create a bottle for cognac and to present a concept of packaging that not only protects the product, but is an aesthetic element that endures and is not disposed of after usage. It is an element that communicates with the product to create the appeal of projected aesthetics, in this instance, gothic architecture.

King’s Folly, a surreal object done for http://www.antianti.us

Theme – polarity, Statement – exploitation.

The statement of the object is partially based on the novel of Joris-Karl Huysmans
– “À rebours”, mainly on the passage about gems encrusted tortoise.

“A Rebours defines the decadent spirit as one of simulation-that the idea of a thing is purer-and therefore more desirable-than the thing itsself. This is best illustrated in one of the most famous chapters where, after a lengthy reverie into the merits of various gemstones, Des Esseintes decides that the best way to display his favorite jewels would be to have them set into the shell of a living tortoise. The jeweler finally returns with the encrusted tortoise, which takes about two steps and dies from the immense weight of the stones. The entire decadent movement was imbibed with this sense of embellishing and improving the natural, and no single book encapsulates the decadent/symbolist aesthetic like A Rebours.”
