Paul Fronckowiak was born in Rochester, New York. In 1990 Fronckowiak joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It was at this time that he taught himself to sew and started to create his own garments. In addition to clothing, he learned furniture and automotive upholstery from a master craftsman. After serving in the Air Force, Paul pursued menswear at the acclaimed Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and was immediately selected by Andrew Marc as an Outerwear Designer. There he focused on the technical detail of garment construction, adding ergonomic utilitarian features. He spent time working with labels such as Aeropostale, U.S. Polo Assn., Damon Dash Enterprises, Cavi Fashion, Ecko Unlimited, and Ervingeoffrey. Most recently, Paul had the unique opportunity to consult for Crye Associates. Crye is a private company that supplies all branches of the United States Military with body armor and uniforms. Most of this work is still classified due to the technologies used in construction of the garments, and their subsequent use. Paul currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

I was very reluctant visiting India due to the horror stories I’ve heard about getting sick and having to eat Indian food every day. Not to mention missing out on a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Don’t get it twisted, I like Indian food as I like steak but I wouldn’t want to eat steak every day either. Boy was I wrong! The worst Indian food in India [which I never had] is still 100X’s better than the best in N.Y. I ate it just about every day as well as chai at breakfast. I did not get sick [thanks to daily probiotics and bottled water] and saw some of the most beautiful sights the country has to offer. I also was able to visit the markets – the best way to describe them is “chinatown on meth”. These photos are just a few [of thousands] taken during the trip. Here is Delhi [New and Old]. I also visited Rajasthan, Agra, Jaipur, and Goa. This trip really opened my eyes and I hope to someday return. More pictures to come later.

1994 Giant Cadex TCM – full carbon mtn bike frame w/manitou 4 suspension fork

I built this bike  back in 1994 and the aluminum bottom bracket insert came unglued in 2009. I didn’t want to throw out the frame. Decided to resurrect one of the cleanest carbon frame designs [in my book] as a street crusher
