Through the years Robinson developed a particular interest in shooting live music and Editorial portraits. She worked as a freelance photographer for a newspaper in her hometown in Vacaville, California.

Photojournalism encompassed an element of rawness and storytelling that became her forte. Robinson now incorporates these elements in her Fashion photography. "Everyone has a story and it's my passion to tell these stories. Whether it's a single portrait or a series of photographs I strive to speak truth."

Speaking of random…

Got a gig shooting this awesome band called Slowdance, for the Brooklyn Northside Festival Lookbook. Pure fun and randomness would describe the day..  Drove out to Ft. Tilden Beach, walked through trails, borrowed some kids skateboard, took over this guys bonfire on the beach and jammed to good tunes on the way back! Never a dual moment shooting with me..  Checkout my site to view more images: www.ninarobinsonphotography.com

Every week I will be photographing a “Neu friend”. I am always meeting new faces in random places. Some people tell me stories, others just give me an inviting smile.

Meet Cameron, a young photography student who sat across from me on the A train. We talked for 15 minutes about street photography and fashion. So engaged in the conversation we ended up missing our stop. While waiting for the next train at the Utica subway station I decided to take his portrait.

Sustain-ably Yours,

Nina
