We reconnected to create graphics and animation for Ed Banger queen, UFFIE for her latest music video for her ADD/SUV track. Building off an Evil Knievl-esque americana theme mixed with a little peter max nod, we designed, edited and animated the video into a playful sequence of cops, races, stars and stripes.

We got a dagger thrown at us to create this animated commercial from start to finish in 1 week. Instead of crying about it, we put on our illustration, animation and southern california inspired surf wear helmets and charged like the possessed creative warriors we are, ignoring thought, logic and common sense. Client happy, us happy, and a bag monster was created for the ages. Behind the scenes of how we made it here.
For ages, anyone thats come by the Laundry! studios has asked me about making skate decks for the masses, and usual me I lagged for ages until now. After months of haggling with production, I managed to squeeze these two out as the start of many. The idea was to play off a Day and Nite them loosely, hence the names of the deck, but really just another avenue to bring my signature lettering and characters to life. As usual, the kdu gets it first, I showed a sneak peak a few weeks back and now these are live for mass consumption on the pkin site.
Todd dropped me a line that the KDU x RYZ collabo would be featured in selected Journeys shoe stores, and he wasnt kidding. Front and center as you walk in was the kdu collabo standing strong. At least in the santa monica store, me, anthony faucheux and mago were repped hard as you will see in particular. Trust and thx to the kdu.

Kdu Fam. After What seems like forever, I finally gathered the energy, focus and follow through to put together Pkin, an illustration and experimentation platform for me to make imagery without the constraints and contexts of corporate clients. I have posted years of illustrations I have completed along with a lot of bits of finished, unfinished and partially completed works from across the spectrum to get the party started. As always kdu fam is a huge inspiration to everything I make.
