Art Director by day, illustrator by night, puppy and kitten lover, non-sleeper (and borderline narcoleptic). Hi! Pleased to meet you. www.hellozso.com
Hopped over to Auckland a few weeks ago to speak at the We Can Create conference along side some heros like Frank Kozik and Eike Keonig from Hort (among a slew of others). It was my first large event talk, so a fantastic trial by fire experience. Below is a post-lecture interview.http://www.vimeo.com/29024744
I’ve also started a new personal series of 100 Girls for my next and ongoing project. Six of the new pieces debuted in a show in Auckland. Here’s part of the drawing process for number 6, shot by Marius Crowne for part of an upcoming TV segment.http://www.vimeo.com/29125821
Some new pieces:

I couldn’t be happier about having recently set up camp at the KDU headquarters to draw my butt off. It’s really positive to be around the team while we each work and feed of each other’s energy. As of two and a half weeks ago, I am officially able to devote 100% of my time to art, a novel idea after half a decade working in an agency full time. Life if good. Long live the KDU!
