Badwater Basin is an endorheic basin in Death Valley National Park, California noted as the lowest point in north america, with an elevation of 282 ft (86 m) below sea level. It’s an unforgetable experience to wander a little way out onto the salt flats, and just stand for a while in the stifling heat. Temperature 120°F / 48°C

Ruby Beach is the northernmost of the southern beaches in the coastal section of Olympic National Park. It has a tremendous amount of driftwood and some amazing sea stacks. It’s like a photographers dream, a rocky, log-strewn shore to enjoy gazing at dramatic rock formations and bald eagles that soar overhead or rest in the treetops on the cliffs. Defenitly one of the most scenically distinctive beaches in this 10-mile stretch of Kalaloc.

On our way down south from washington to california we made a stop in Dunes city, Oregon where you find wind-sculpted sand dunes towering to 500 feet above sea level. The Oregon Dunes National Recreaion area extends for 40 miles along the Oregon Coast. Formed by the ancient forces of wind, water and time, these dunes are like no others in the world.  It’s an amazing photo location and was defenitly one of my highlights on our trip!

I will post some more photos soon.

An original ghost town from the late 1800’s. Bodie stands today in a state of “arrested decay”.There’s a story about a little girl whose family moved from San Francisco to Bodie. Depending on who tells you, or where you read it, she wrote either: “Good, by God, I’m going to Bodie” or “Goodbye God, I’m going to Bodie”. Once you get through this site, you’ll have to decide for yourself.

I’ve been travelling around the west coast for almost 2 months this summer with my girlfriend. All of the places i’ve been to were simply amazing! We visited most of the national parks around washington, oregon, california, arizona and utah. I will upload the best photos from all the locations we’ve been to. I’m starting here with the Joshua Tree Nationalpark, wich was an incredible experience!
