Photography / Print / Paper / Color test.
Lucky shots? Maybe. Entirely accidental. What interested me here is the months of paper tests.
In my mind, there is a need to test every available piece of equipment or resource to its fullest and crank what you can out of it.
This is standard inkjet printing on quality papers.
Nikon, Zenith, Mac, Hewllet-Packard.
Come out to Shag (108 Reobling St on the corner of N6th in Williamsburg) on the evening of Friday the 20th and see our first solo show.
There will be 14 new works hung in the main space and 3 classic pieces in the back room, all are single edition prints.
Shag is a great boutique, there will be free drinks, and one hell of a sexy crowd all make for a promising evening.
Special thanks to the ever lovely Sam and Ashley for their continued support of our work.
Hope to see you there.
In November I went down to visit some family friends in Buenos Aires. Here are some photos from my trip there. It was a truly incredible time.
The KDU at El Casa Rosa (The Pink House) – The house of the Argentine President, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
I didn’t want to overload the KDU site so to see more from this trip and my other work please visit my site: Cole Giordano Photography .

Excuse the annoying commercial that will probably pop up before this video plays, but we @laundry! had the pleasure of contributing design for this piece, and designing and animating Mick Jaggers space sequence for the last 1/3rd of the video,
Thought I’d share this as an example of the collaborative work I do with graphic artists and illustrators. Always looking to team up with like-minded people for editorials and campaigns.
Type.Face / Illustration / Colour print
Portrait & mixed Type. A project that is a personal challenge and one that will be ongoing as a small series.
I am interested in pulling away from the digital aesthetic with these prints and using analog as the main tool and last source to bring the image to life.
Mixed Message images…
Continuing our agenda to disrupt the broken fashion machine, we proudly present our latest, off-calendar collection.
Completely designed and manufactured in our in-house Brooklyn Factory, the collection is a collision of various inspirations from, and reactions to, our modern age.
All items are now available in our online store.
Hello! Very excited to become a part of The KDU. I look forward to getting to know and collaborating with the talented members of this network. Thanks to David for inviting me to join.
As an introduction to what I do, here are two images that represent my style as a beauty and fashion photographer, both from editorials published in the last two years:
My story on the movement of skateboarding from sub-culture to mainstream media for The Hook magazine. Click here to see the fall issue and read the full article based on my interview, and that of Doug Brown at 2nd Nature skateshop, on the rise in popularity of skateboarding in Westchester and New York City over the past decade.
50 year old professional photographer and life long skateboarder Charlie Samuels carves up the pool at Chelsea Piers. And, thanks to his efforts, the pool at the Saratoga Springs skate park has been dug out after 2 years of being filled with dirt and made skateable once again (see my last post). Also, keep an eye out for Charlie’s upcoming film, Virgin Blacktop about “Life, death and brotherhood on a suburban N.Y. skateboard team.”
(last 2 photographs feature anonymous skateboarders)
