I was comissioned to do these illustrations by the team at Harvard Business Review (http://hbr.org/) for the article “Coaching the toxic leader” written by the distinguished clinical professor of leadership development and organizational change at INSEAD, Manfred F.R. Kets de Vries.
Each of the illustrations was to divide the different personalities that the article refers to, as “The narcissist”, “The manic depressive”, “The passive agressive” and “The emotionally disconnected”.
The article is online at http://hbr.org/2014/04/coaching-the-toxic-leader/ if you wish to give it a read!

It’s official, I’ve been booked as a RAW Natural Born Artist and will be in the MOSAIC showcase. RAW events are multi-faceted artistic showcases. Each event features a film screening, musical performance, fashion show, art gallery (that’s me), performance art and a featured hairstylist and makeup artist. I am honored to be one of the hand-picked talent who are being featured at RAW MOSAIC. For the show I’m going to creating a piece inspired by the Great Chicago of 1871. This will be a part of my #VintageFuture body of work.

OVERHEARD is a miss-ordered diary of the dark, crude, random and occasionally funny snippets of conversation that I’ve noted down.
For a few years now I’ve taken the nonsense I hear and written it into my phone’s ‘notes’. The quotes – each out of their context – are tagged with the themes of the conversation it was taken from and it’s colour is based on its general category; MIND, AIR and BLOOD. Colour intensity is linked to the time it was written. Every quote has an illustration that embodies its narrative. The snippets are verbatim from my phone (drunken spelling and all).
