Over in the UK, The Addict Clothing Team are proud to be part of the KDU network. It’s an exciting time and we look forward to show casing our upcoming designs, projects and collaborations.
We started life way back in 1996, over that time we’ve developed into a brand with our own signature style of streetwear, blending casual wear with the performance, quality and functionality of high spec outerwear. Part of what we are today is down to the people we’ve met and work with along the way. We look forward to connecting with all those within the KDU family
A bit of new craziness for 2011, whos bad?!?!!http://www.vimeo.com/21780145
My contribution to the Quentin vs. Coen show next week in NYC. If you’re in the area, you should come check out the show. It’s a show based on characters from the films of the Coen Brothers and Quentin Tarantino. I chose to do a piece on Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction. Say ‘what’ again. This is a very limited print run, and will probably sell out at the show. I may have an extra 15 or so of my own that I’ll put up for sale after the show’s over.
Added almost 40 t-shirt designs for Nixon to my site. Go have a look.
Protect Ya Neck.
Still a banger to this day. Without listing an entire discography of classics, remixes and major credits to the clan founders & members, I’m just touching on the brand. Aside from one other behemoth of a Hip Hop brand to hit the globe from the United States some years ago, the ‘W’ is still a huge statement of unrivalled stature. It represents a balanced structure, a pure blending of styles and artistic vision.
When it comes to music, I can be a fanatic, showing my age, and pointing the finger at young heads and saying ‘You aint seen nothing until you saw a live hip hop gig’.
Music plays a huge part in my life. Music, like Art is an entire movement, sometimes the two collide and fuse to offer strategy and direction on many levels. Like art and its disciples, we all need to breathe it, live it and become accustomed to its movement.
Respect to the Wu Tang Clan, here is my homage ( 1 of 4 in progress )

Ode to the Supermoon :
It continues to guide vessels. A constant reminder of ones awareness of self and of presence. Its features represent a knowing and a sense of purpose amid the void.
We question its dominance and its activity. The poetry that it weaves among men, the vision among seers, the silence among prophets, effect upon tide, telling of time.
The mathematics is simple, and yet is made complicated and unfathomable by many. Know your gravity. Unity through alignment and co-ordination. In this we Trust.
Logo / type treatment and image - a solid simplified system of elements, a good balance of light and dark, not complicated. The Keystone shows gravitational pull, remaining intact, dominant and unshadowed.
Here’s a visual preview to a music video we directed, designed, and animated at Laundry! for Steve Aoki and Rivers Cuomo from Weezer as a direct extension of the Hennessy Art of Blending project we did with the Kdu. Look for the video soon!
