Before I begin a new body of work in 2013, it seemed only fitting to update my painting website Stephenholding.com with my most recent works. A typeface project that I have been working on, The intention was to create a font that would be cool to use as a header and not for text, what I like the most about it is the contrast straight lines/curves and the fact that it is not a perfect typeface in terms of character length, these differences create an interesting dynamism in the balance of the words it composes. Ordos is a ghost town located in Inner Mongolia. Seeing the potential of this city in terms of spots we decided to organize a skate trip and be the first ones to skate such a surreal place.
