In July ’09, I took over as Creative Director of RYZ, a new footwear brand founded by the former President of Adidas, Rob Langstaff. After personally rebranding and rebuilding – right away, David Gensler and I began curating a large collaboration that would reach a worldwide scale – hitting all four corners of the globe with some of our collective’s top artists and designers – making it the largest art x footwear collaboration to date. Along with the footwear collection – there is a handful of limited edition t-shirts from some of the participating members.
This collection features KDU members: Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic (US), Amenth (Indonesia), Bob Partington (Canada), Chuck Anderson (U.S.), Daren Newman (U.K.), Edgar Gonzalez (Guatemala), Jan Hakon Robson (Norway), Josh Vanover (US), Justin Maller (Australia), KXX (Poland), Magomed Dovjenko (Germany), Matt W. Moore (US), Max Spencer (UK), Nasa (Argentina), Nigel Evan Dennis (US), P.J. Richardson (US), Ron Wimberly (US), Sandra Chi (Korea), Shadow Chen (China), Si Scott (UK), James Sanderson and Si Billam of Unit (UK), and photography by Eric Vogel.

Todd dropped me a line that the KDU x RYZ collabo would be featured in selected Journeys shoe stores, and he wasnt kidding. Front and center as you walk in was the kdu collabo standing strong. At least in the santa monica store, me, anthony faucheux and mago were repped hard as you will see in particular. Trust and thx to the kdu.
